Mike joined
the Solberg Law Firm in 1977, became a partner in 1981, and is now the
managing partner of the firm.
Mike practices in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, insurance
litigation, mass tort litigation, construction litigation, and class
actions. He handles a wide range of cases including cases on drugs such as
Fen-Phen, Baycol, and Rezulin; medical devices such as Guidant Heart Stents;
fiber optics cases against AT&T, Sprint and Burlington Northern;
construction litigation involving public buildings; claims against pharmacy
benefit management companies (PBMs)
He represents the City of Fargo as the chief civil litigator. He has been
appointed as a special Assistant Attorney General for the State of North
Dakota to pursue a claim for the North Dakota Insurance Department. He also
represents the Minnesota Northern Railroad and the St. Croix Valley Railroad
as well as the North Dakota Soybean Council and the FargoDome Authority.

Mike is a native of Scranton, North Dakota. He graduated from the University
of North Dakota School of Law "with distinction" in 1977 with a special
emphasis on transportation law.
He is admitted to practice in the State of North Dakota, in the United
States District Courts in North Dakota and Minnesota, in the 8th and 10th Circuit
Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. |
