Child support orders may be reviewed and changed if there is a substantial change in either parent’s income or a substantial increase in the needs of the child or children receiving support. Changes in the availability of health insurance may also be considered. Parents wishing to change child support payments within one year of the court order must show a material change in circumstances that were not discoverable during the original proceedings.
