I Am Not Working, How Am I Going to Make Ends Meet?

Some spouses will be entitled to spousal support during the divorce proceedings, after the proceedings, or both. The court will base this determination on many things including the needs of the spouse requesting spousal support and the ability of the other spouse to pay it. The court will also look at the work history of the spouses and whether it is desirable or possible for the person who is not working to obtain employment.
